   Do they make that iPhone mount that is LaRue compatible? I only use LaRue’s kit, and I need this system.

   I’ve tried to contact them directly, but as I am stationed in a foreign land, they aren’t getting back to me. I used to pray for gear this good back in ‘nam. Now it’s here and I can’t get any solid word. Semper Fi.

   LaRue does make a Q/R plate for this item. They have several in stock. We do not carry them directly, but LaRue is very accommodating, give them a call.

   I saw this last Sat. The guy was zeroed @ 100 yards and wanted to go out to 500. It worked well, but he was off by a few minutes. He had an ipod touch, not an i phone. It might have been a different app. There are a few shooting apps now!

   I would really like to see a version of this for the BlackBerry Storm which has a fairly good GPS and the accelerometer needed for position sensing…not being an AT&T customer (their coverage is abysmal where I live) make the iPhone a no-go and I’d rather not have to carry around an iPod just for one app!

   I’m sure most of us would like to see this app ported to any number of devices; Blackberry, G1 Android, and Windows Mobile both for phone and PDA. I’d prefer a dedicated PDA like a Dell Axim for rifle use, as I’m not sure I want my cellphone (which I depend on everyday as do most people) rifle mounted. We’ll see what comes of it.

   The Iphone is also compatible on Tmobile. They just can’t advertise that fact.
